What shops are open on late May Bank Holiday 2020? Opening times for Boots, M&S and more
A number of retailers are now starting to open their doors under strict social distancing guidelines following months of lockdown.
If you are hitting the shops over the Bank Holiday to pick up some essential items for your home, garden or to indulge in a bit of self-care, it's advisable to check opening times before heading out.
Major chains such as Wilko, Boots and M&S will be open, but operate shorter opening times than normal. While other chains such as Matalan are preparing to open stores whilst adhering to strict guidelines.
Below is a full breakdown of which stores are open and when over the Bank Holiday weekend.

Boots stores are considered essential retailers and has been allowed to remain open throughout lockdown.
Opening and closing times on a majority of stores has changed, so check online at Boots.com before heading out.

Only M&S Foodhalls are currently open, and as a result some larger store opening hours have changed. The retailer is advising shoppers to check details online using the store finder tool online.

Ikea are operating contact-free home delivery on doorstep only and the chain has suspended its Order and Collection service as a precautionary measure.
