Households are being given supermarket vouchers for increasing their step count
Supermarket vouchers are being given to people who increase their daily step count through a new Government shame.
Other rewards you can get through the new initiative, which is designed to encourage healthier lifestyles, include cinema tickets and clothing.
The new pilot scheme launched last Friday and is being tested in Wolverhampton. The Better Health: Rewards app is free to download for over-18s.
For the next 20 weeks, users of the app collect points for completing personalised weekly goals such as increasing their step count or eating more fruit and vegetables.
